Hey all, trying to hook up a hitch kitch to the 60" HD broom for my 1025r.

I took off the old 3 series triangle hitch and am trying to put the bvl10795 on.

It looks like this:

The manual doesn't tell how to attach the hardware. I have two bolts with spacers that I believe go where the 1 arrows are pointing. When I do this it allows the brush to rotate around that collar a little bit, which I think is by design. There is however a big hold that lines up with the yellow sleeve and the black collar that I don't know what to do with.

This shows the #2 designated hole better:

Finally, I accidentally separated the driveshaft and the splines do not want to recollapse. Any tricks? is it phased? Thanks all!

So I figured the splines have a key, there was a lot of grease on the pto shaft.

I aslo just went with the two bolts as decribed and tried it out. It seems to do alright and now I understand a little better how it finds a level on that collar. I think I'm good, but open to advice. Thanks.

Without digging mine completely out of storage, it looks to be the exact same as yours. No idea what that hole is for. Maybe if a person wanted to stop the housing from rotating for some reason they would put a bolt through there or something?

Thanks, no worries. I chucked it together and tried it out, makes a lot more sense now. Thanks.
