Anybody know the p/n for the mulch kit for the 60" deck for current 2032/38 tractors? I believe the deck p/n is BLV10448. Having trouble determining the correct kit.

In the newer 2032R catalog I'm not finding anything useful. In the newer 2038R catalog, I'm finding TCB10953 as the mulch kit for the 60D for deck serial numbers up to 030000, but no listing for decks after serial #030000.

TCB10953 is the same mulch kit used on the 1 series for deck serial numbers up to and including 030000. Decks 030001 & beyond use BM23978. (I put BM23978 on my 1 series 60D... fit perfectly). It's a shot in the dark, but BM23978 may be used on your deck, if it's serial number is 030001 or higher (I'm guessing it is).

It's hard to say, but I'm guessing Deere hasn't finished filling in the parts catalog for the newer 2032 or the 2038. There seems to be a lot of info missing in different sections of the catalog.

Thanks for the input. You may very well be correct. I need to do more research to get my confidence level higher regarding the correct p/n. Or, dare I say it, maybe I will contact the dealer...

Yes, check with your dealer to see if they have access to something we don't. Might also consider seeing if he has a 1 series deck you can compare yours to. You'd be concerned with the mounting holes for the studs on the mulch baffles (I think there are 3... maybe 4) and the shape of the baffles that are welded/installed on the deck from the factory. The mulch kit uses those as part of what it 'hangs onto'.

And by the way, BM23978 is about $250 give or take. Sure you can get a discount/free shipping online sometimes, but if you got the dealer to help you find the right kit, giving him the business would be nice for helping. Just a thought.

I can now confirm this is the correct kit for the 60” deck. No drilling required. 3 bolts. 2 are easy to tighten, third one a bit of a PIA as it is under a pulley with little clearance. Hardest part was getting to underside of deck-that thing is HEAVY.

The load-n-go is available for the 72D deck. Now I wish I ordered the 72D instead of the 60D.
