Put a remote and mid mount valve on my 6420 with a new power beyond block. After wards steering was stiff and loader was slow unless I pushed the lever for the third remote in. Went through it today and replaced what I thought was a missing dime disc but now the steering and loader do not work regardless. Any opinions?

Several questions:
Do you have the pressure and return hoses from the spacer block (power beyond) to the mid valve correct?
Does the mid valve have a LS (Load Sense) hose?
Does the spacer block (power beyond block) have ports for two LS hoses? One to the hydraulic pump, one to the mid valve? IIRC my 6415 has two LS hoses in the spacer, I need to check. Yours looks like the end cover has the LS hose to the pump.
Do you have the LS hoses to the correct posts on the spacer block? This might not apply if your spacer only has one LS hose port.
What disc did you add?
I am thinking you MAY/MIGHT have:
Mid valve without LS
and/or
Hoses connected wrong
and/or
Wrong spacer block *
and/or
LS disc(s) missing or in wrong spot

* If you have the correct mid valve and hoses connected right, this would be my first guess.

From your picture it looks like you have spacer AL161388. REMARKS say NOT for use with HUSCO ICV
Is your ICV (Independent Control Valve) mid valve a HUSCO?
Also notice the end cover (key 10) used does NOT have LS return to pump hose.

This was a kit from shortlineparts.com, seemed quicker than sourcing everything myself. The power beyond block they supplied has a supply, return, and a load sense hose on it. When installing the kit the first time the clusters on the right all came loose. So I was concerned one of the dime discs came out. Go around 1 I noticed the disc missing in area marked C in my picture and didn't go any further. After this the loader worked great but the steering was still stiff without pulling the third remote. So a resplit the stack and checked that there was a disc in the location marked as B but found one missing in the location marked as A.

You should have a load sense disc (the dime disc) to the left of everything but the final right end cover.
The next split to the left of A (your picture label A) would be the LS disc for steering. This split is to the right of the 2nd SCV. (Which JD calls SVC 1) *
Where A points is between the Main Block on the left, to the right is the Rockshaft valve. The steering LS is plumbed to the Main block. There needs to be a LS disc to the left of the Main Block for steering LS.
I will use # for the LS disc. Here is what you should have:
Left cover / # / 2nd SCV / # / 1st SCV / # / Main Block / # / Rockshaft valve / # / 3rd SCV / # / Spacer block (PB) / Right cover.
So SIX LS discs #. No LS disc # between Spacer and Right cover.
* JD numbers the SCVs 2, 1, 3 from left to right.

A am assuming the Mid SCV is NOT a Husco brand valve.

I think I put one in the last space between the pb block and cover, will have to remove that tonight and try that and get back to you. Thanks for the feedback so far.
There should not be one there.

That fixed the steering issue thanks. Just need to figure out how to get the loader load sense to engage now. Thank you for your help. I believe that is something do to do with the adjustment on top of the power beyond plate.

I ASSUME since Shortline Parts supplied you with the spacer, AL161388, which is NOT for HUSCO brand mid valve, you do NOT have a HUSCO mid valve.
This is considered a "bleed" type spacer. The adjustment you refer to is to adjust the LS bleed so you have full system pressure when the mid valve puts the pump to maximum pressure.
You need a pressure gauge (system pressure is 2900psi) and way (adapter) to connect it to the test port.
1) warm hydraulic fluid to 140° F
2) connect pressure gauge to check system pressure
3) curl bucket of loader and hold
4) system pressure should be 2900psi
Adjust; turning adjustment screw IN increases pressure, turning OUT decreases pressure. set and lock at 2900psi.
5) return bucket valve to neutral. within 2-3 seconds system pressure should drop to standby pressure 508-580psi.
