Hi all-I'm new to the site and am looking for some advice. I have a '69 2510 that just recently starting making extra noise that seems to be coming from the front hydraulic pump. The noise is constant after start up, but stops while using the loader or while turning the steering wheel. Just drained the hydro fluid to check filter and screen. Both clean and fluid do not seem dirty so I reused it. Any ideas for me to check? Thanks

You know your stuff.

Thanks very much guys. I dismounted my loader last night so I could have a better look at everything this morning. I couldn't see what all the noise was coming from with the loader attached. You were exactly right. The bushings are toast. Clamp and splines look good. Do you guys know the part number for these little guys?

Thanks again. I decided to dig a little more into the old tractor and fix some more things. Trying to figure out how to adjust the syncro shifter so that it finds the gears a little easier. Need to replace the muffler and start working on fixing some of the wiring. I have been starting it by shorting the starter since I bought it. It think it might be time just to rewire the whole thing to make the switches and lights work properly.

Since you will have the pump coupler apart, check your fan belt too.

How many hours? I am wondering the typical life of these bushings.
