790 brake repair video??

Hello,

im looking for information on doing a brake job for a 790 and was hoping for a useful video or written instructions. Anyone have any such things? I suppose I can order this, but find narrated video to be really helpful for things like this.

any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Welcome to GTT.

Disconnect the brake linkage at the lever(1).
Remove 6 bolts and washer(3 & 4).
Remove cover and gasket(5 & 6).
Remove spring(7.)
Pad(8) will fall on your toes if your standing too close. ;)
Inspect springs(7) and drums(9).
Purchase replacement parts as needed, along with new gaskets(6) and O-rings(2)
Reassemble in reverse order.

That sounds very simple. I need to at least check the brakes on my 790 but will get the O rings and gaskets first. They may or may not be ok and if ok, I'll just seal them back up.

My 750 has the same brake set up. When I bought it(used), I removed and sanded the brake pads and the brake drum surfaces. They work well.
