Has about 3000 hours and there is a high pitch grinding coming from behind the engine and in front of the gear shifts. Must have started lately as I don't recall it doing that before....

Any ideas what to go after first???

Thanks so much!

I thought the same but///

Sounds like the clutch...how does the pedal feel?

Movement of the clutch pedal didn't change a thing!! Although the more I ran it the quieter it got this evening. I had not ran it in about 120 days, getting it ready to do some bush hogging and that's how it sounded. About 75 percent of the noise is gone.... I don't have a clue????

Thanks!!!

Is there an access plug on the left side of the clutch housing to grease the throwout bearing? I would try doing that.
You did not say what tranmission you have. Reverser?, Hi-Low? Std 2 range 4 speed?
