Add return to tank (sump) on 3033R 3rd SCV for Lane Shark

I have been doing a ton of research on the Lane Shark and I am aware of the good and the bad but I still want to get one. I see that I need a return direct to the tank on my 3rd SCV that I use for the grapple so the return from the Lane Shark dose not go through the valve. I have the rear SCV running to the FEL using a John Deere kit and I plan to use one of the lines to power and the other for return and when the return fluid gets to the back I will disconnect one of the lines and plumb it into the tank direct. My question is has anyone done this on a 3033R that can give me a good location to tie into tank? I have searched web and forums but cant find anything specific to what I need.

Only option I found was this.

"temporary" custom adapter

Here is a picture of my FEL connections and REAR SCV connections.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,

Matt

The power beyond kit will include a direct return, do you have a use for that otherwise?

Here is the drawing for the open station version:

Thanks Kenny,

That got me pointed in the right direction, the kit you posted a picture of is the BLV11010 that is for a tractor without 3rd SCV and after looking that up I found the BLV10962 for tractors with a 3rd SCV. So you got me on the right track. I found this install manual and it adds a T to my existing return line which would work great. Would be nice if I could by just the T and install it.

Yeah I just grabbed the first pic I saw as a reference. I'm sure you can the Tee separately through parts.

Thanks again Kenny, I wound up getting number 9 and 10 from the diagram below.

I do have one more question, after watching you and Tim on TTWT testing several flow and pressure rates on tractors I was wanting to know if the 3/8 hose I have on my 3033R to the front will give me any issues when running the Lane Shark, I am getting the smaller LS3 that says it needs 5 to 8.5 GPM. Tractor data says my pump flow is 8.6GPM but I am sure there is a GPM drop to the connections at front on my FEL that are run from the rear 3rd SCV. And I will be connecting the return to the new cross T for direct return flow to the tank and not through the valve. I am going to hook it up tomorrow and post my findings/opinion since I don't see a lot of info on the Lane Shark on a John Deere, most I see are on orange tractors.

Is this 3/8 hoes something you installed or is it part of the BW16138 kit that extends the 3rd SCV to the loader?
It is the BW16138.
The main restriction will be the steel hardlines and 1/4” couplers used up on the loader, review the video we (TTWT and I) did on Kenton’s 4052 to see what I mean.

If you plug your hoses into the 1/2” couplers at the mid section, you should be fine.
