I was brought a gas 4020 that the alternator is cracked. Its not something that can be welded.

Other than a JD Dealer, where can I go to get a quality part at a reasonable price. I was thinking NAPA, but i do not want to run around town and blow all day for this simple job.

Really can't help on the part source, but the phone and web searches can be handy tools. Not trying to be smart just helpful.

NAPA would be my choice, my local NAPA dealer can get alot of the Deere stuff I need and is 5 minutes away, the Deere dealer is 1 1/2 hrs away. Something such as an alternator should be a good savings too.
