Anybody got an update on the Area Diesel 1025r turbo kit? Haven’t seen anything new in about a year

Regarding pulling power in high range (or low range for that matter)...

The stock 1025R is very well balanced between HP and the hydrostatic relief valve. When "tied to a tree", pulling, pressing the forward pedal will cause the relief valve to squeal and at the same time, the engine will lug down and maybe die.

With the turbo kit, when "tied to a tree", pulling, the pressure relief will squeal as you press the pedal, but the engine will not pull down at all.

I find that it does indeed pull more, but not by a huge amount.

I haven't yet figured out how to increase the hydrostatic pressure relief valve setting. ...and I probably should NOT investigate this further :)

Glad I ordered early I think I placed mine 1-2 days after he had it up on the website so hopefully will be in the first shipment batch.

if it make H range usable would be nice. Right now if I got a bucket full of dirt can’t go up a hill in my yard in H gear.
Yep, me too.
I think I was the 2nd one here on GTT to put in an order.

I too hope I am in that first group.

I had also sent multiple different messages in the prior week's trying to get on the top of the list, even before the pre-orders had opened up on the website.
Never got any responses to any of those messages. ???

So, who knows, but I have fingers crossed that I see this kit arrive in the next week or two.

Hmm. Maybe a few $$ to TTWT could influence the list? I see a new business plan taking shape!

Has he received EPA approval?
It's a little crazy imo to start selling kits without that isn't it?
While I don't really "need" a turbo, it would be nice to be able to fully utilize the capacity of my Woodmax TM86H chipper without worrying about bogging/stalling the engine.

Watch his video were he explains how he's doing the DPF, he touches that subject a few times.

The limitation of these tractors has been and will be the gearing “high range is so tall that it really kills the TQ curve which results in the tractor feeling weak” and the fact you could add 50hp and the tractor really won’t put that to the ground. However if properly installed and tuned “adding the correct amount of fuel increase” will result in a much more efficient tractor, it’ll sound cooler and during the winter it’ll help keep the tractor up to temp. There really isn’t a whole lot of downsides other than added cost and the warranty going out the window

For a business as small as his he probably won’t and i wouldn’t either. Getting past carb is a real pain, it’s easier to ship kits and hope for the best. My recommendation is buy a kit asap and hold on to it haha

I did see that, although including it as part of the kit does not substitute the verification process required.
I hope he has at least verified that there will be enough exhaust heat to keep the catalyst lit off and cleaning itself.
Believe me, I'm pulling for his success. I have extreme admiration for all you entrepreneurs.
It is certainly a nice package, unfortunately a little rich for my needs right now.

Who cares if it doesn’t if it gets clogged core it out and run a strait pipe lol

It comes with a "test pipe" (my interpretation is a straight pipe) ... In case it gets clogged ... I'd just want to be "testing it" for quite awhile ;)... Also get a pyrometer for it, to continue testing it ...

Right it’s really not that big of a deal and plus if you run the tractor hard, don’t run it too rich it’ll be fine.

What's to stop him from making and selling the kit and just stating its not EPA compliant? Delete kits for diesel trucks are readily available from several manufacturers.

Because the EPA has been going full bore on cracking down on diesel tuning and deleting. It’s gotten so bad they are have been entire parts of the industry that now dead and gone. Most of these companies you see online are working out side the states and if they are in the states. They just shut down relocate and repeat the process. This isn’t 2008 be very happy we have someone making a turbo kit that basically checks all the boxes other than actually getting approved

Wondering if this will fit on my z994r....might not have the clearance in the back.
Anyone get there Turbo yet, or have any updates or receive tracking info?

I have not heard anything at all. I would think we have to be getting really close.

Last update was that video a week or so ago, stating we should start seeing them arrive last week in May or first week of June.
Hope Kevin hits it out of the park, one my favorite vendors to work with.😎
