That may be but what's the excuse for all the dealers that did not discounting back when times were good? Loyalty works both ways.

I just ordered a X590 "lawn tractor". I asked for the straight out price and there was no discount. Salesperson told me tractors are in limited supply. Also, being spring....discounts are less than fall and end of year. Deere is only offering 0% interest on most models.

Earlier this year (February?) JD was offering $700 off on the x7 line, probably $500 on the x5 (IIRC). Seems odd they would have those promotions running 2 months ago but now say tractors are scarce. Must have moved a lot of product in the last 60 days....
