This is the former PA outdoors show that shut down last year after the organizer made some ill-conceived decisions on what would be allowed to be displayed at the show. The NRA stepped in and took over the future show dates and revamped the show as the largest outdoors show in the U.S. My family and I are heading over on Friday, 7-FEB, and I was wondering if anyone else is going.

I was never there either. A bunch of friends used to go when Reed Expo ran it, but I think the NRA has added a lot more stuff.

All my kids keep asking if if there will be lots of beef jerky. :fed:

That's funny I used to go to an outdoor show in Suffern NY when I lived in NJ. Every year I would load up on beef jerky.

I'm about an hour away from Harrisburg.

Just getting back from the show. Spent about 6 hours walking around. It was packed, majority of the time I could not even take a full step. Well worth it though. Next year I will be going on a weekday.

A friend of mine was there yesterday evening and he said it was good. And another friend is there right now. I'm waiting to get his report.

Did you park there or take a shuttle in?

So far all the reports my friends have been sending me are that it's a great show. I am looking forward to heading over Friday.

The family and I headed down today. It was a GREAT show! You could never see all of it in one day. We parked at the Bass Pro store at the East Mall and took the free shuttle to the show. I am definitely going next year.
