Almost bought a Kubota B3000 Cab model. Prefered the 1026r (or Deere in general), but am wondering about a cab for winter blowing.

Does anyone have, or has anyone reseasrched cab options on 1026r?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks kennyd.

I didnt see any talk/chat about a 1 series (or 2305) with a cab in that thread.......more about 3000-4000 series stuff. I did see the links, which may help.

Is there anyone out there with a cab on a 1026r?

Over her in Europe you get the 1026R with cab from JD. I don't know if it’s possible to order it in America but at least you can ask the dealers. The cab is very good, but the height inside the cab can be a problem if you are among the taller once. I tried one on a local fair here in Norway and I really didn’t have enough height inside the cab with my 6'4".

Coming soon to the USA!

I guess all of those in Europe are being spoiled with the John Deere cab for the 1023 and 1026R - as this option is currently only available to John Deere dealers in Europe. As a John Deere dealer in the US, we have been in contact with our reps trying to figure out why we can't get these here in the States. Supposedly this will be an option from John Deere for 2012 sales in the US, but there has yet to be an official word. We have even gone as far as trying to get these imported from Europe for some of our customers that "absolutely need one," but unfortunately we have to inform them of John Deere's international policies.

As far as recommending an enclosed cab, the majority of our sales people love the Curtis cabs that are available. While our first choice is the official John Deere cab, not only because we are a dealer but because of the non-stop positive reviews we get from our satisfied customers.

Anyone else out there hear any other word about the John Deere cabs coming from Europe to the States? Please let us know so we can inform the fine people of this forum!

I have heard this story before....JD has marketed cab models (without Air Conditioning) for years in overseas that where not available to us here in the states-I doubt the policy will change.

To put it bluntly, that policy sucks. It just plain isn't fair to us US owners. Why are they (options) only available to the European buyers? I read somewhere that they (Europeans) have this optional equipment (and there is alot) available to them only, because they use their JD for a livelihood.....if that is the case, that is a bunch of BS.
I would love to have that awesome looking genuine JD cab for my 2520,but JD basically grabs me,spanks my behind and says.....NO,you can't have that. It just ain't fair.:cray:

Hi I just purchased one of the Original Tractor Cab brand for my 2520.. seems to be reasonably priced .. hopefully install it over the weekend and will send some pics... Also in my JD dealer is telling me that the 2xxxx series units for next year will be refreshed and will be offering a OEM cab as an option.

That's a nice looking factory cab.

No kidding it sucks that they get cabs and we don't. In 2001 when I bought my 4200, a cab was offered as an option in Europe; but not here. If it was offered here, I would have got one. I even emailed Deere asking if any unused European cabs were sitting in a warehouse somewhere. All I got was the usual non-committal corporate BS.

I think European regulations dictate additional equipment that isn't offered here. For all I know that may require manufacturers to offer cabs as options to make some bureaucrat happy.

Original Tractor Cab

Here are a couple pics of the Original Brand tractor cab completed...seemed to go together fairly well.. have since relocated the chute rotator to the left side of the tractor to make it easier to articulate...for the price it seems to work fairly well... no heat but it does keep the wind out as well as snow flying from the blower.... now we just need some snow !
