Green Tractor Talk Forum & Loyal Artillian Customers,

First and foremost, thank you for all of your support and patience as we continue to make progress with respect to the Curtis acquisition of Artillian.

Since February 13th we have completed the relocation of all inventory and made progress integrating the manufacturing of Artillian products into our Worcester facility.

We still have some additional work to complete, including updating accurate online inventory status on our website. We apologize for any inconvenience or delays this has caused.

As many of you know, we are continuing to experience delays in shipping orders. We started sending out pending orders last week and we are working diligently to complete the remaining orders over the next two weeks. We will ship orders in the order received and attempt to accommodate any urgent needs.

We want to make sure all of you understand the care we are taking to ensure we maintain the quality, value and innovation Artillian products are known for.

I'm currently not affected by the issues caused by the sale of Artillian to Curtis as I have no outstanding orders. But, one thing that 35+ years of self-employment has taught me is that GOOD COMMUNICATION is paramount to maintaining good relations with your customers. The customer can handle bad news (shipping delays, etc.) if you let them know what's going on. But, when phone calls and emails go unanswered, even the most patient of customers start to think the worst. I'd encourage Curtis to keep an active presence on this forum. You'll find a lot of loyal customers - myself included - that are always happy to say good words about the Artillian product line.

if you Google "Pallet Forks John Deere 1025R" you'll find that GTT is the first non-sponsored link that comes up. That should tell you something about the importance of this forum.

I've been involved in enough system integrations over the years to know that they are painful and demand a lot of time and attention while things are shaking out. Just don't forget the customer - without them, there is no need for systems.

We're all looking forward to seeing what kind of great things come from this acquisition!! :good2:

As a pending customer of some additional Artillain products I'm watching this and the other Artillian to Curtis threads with baited breath...

As I get to the final stages of my fund acquisition I hope that the bugs from the transition will be ironed out so that I can order and have my items delivered without issu, thanks for the update and good luck on a quick conclusion to the current transition difficulties!

I appreciate this update, and urge you to update the web site to better manage people's expectations. I also request a response to my most recent email requesting a status on my order.

I received a call today with an order update, they now say it will ship out next Tuesday, hopefully then I will be able to update and say I have received tracking info.

My card has a pending charge again!!! Yes!!! Unfortunately, I will be on vacation next week, so people other than me will have to receive the freight. Hopefully the address is correct. Never received verification of the shipping change.

I received a voice message late yesterday that my order has shipped, but I have no tracking info, and my card has not been charged. Guess I will be on the phone today.

Ooh! Could it be that the charge is at the end of shipment? Maybe it'll get here before I leave for vacation? I doubt that, but I can always hope. Yeah, I have no tracking info either.

Perhaps. Received a call this morning with tracking information but was told charges will not hit my account until tomorrow.

Poor Customer Service

Frankly this customer service is atrocious. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago and have received no information on it. You can't just post a vague apology on an unrelated message board and call that good customer service. Not every customer frequents GTT.

Why was there not an email sent out to waiting customers at least saying 'Hey we have your order but it might take a month or a year to fulfill'? That is a cheap and easy way to reassure your customers that you haven't just disappeared along with their credit card information.

The information on the website is laughably out of date - saying that things would be fixed in a week (that was over a month ago).

This is more along the lines of what I expect when dealing with a Chinese company - not a proud American company. Had I known that it would take anywhere near this long to get my plow parts I would have gone a different route. Snow's here and still radio silence from Artillian.

The customer service and build quality was what made the somewhat exorbitant Artillian prices palatable. So far Curtis has struck out on one of those. I have my doubts about the other as well. It's a shame to see such a great company fall apart.

Got my tracking info. Should be here next week!
The good news is that orders are moving again. I just got the call that mine was delivered today. I can't wait to try them, but that will need to wait until Monday. Vacationing where there's no snow right now.

My order arrived yesterday. They shipped the wrong size tines, but replacements are on the way. I am really impressed with the fit and finish of the grapple components and plan to finish the hydraulic and 12V install tomorrow. Hope to be clearing brush on Saturday!
