where can i purchase the right voltage reg for this tractor ?

First, verify it's the regulator that failed! Check stator lead for AC volts, around 30 volts at full throttle. Then measure DC volts AT voltage regulator, around 14 volts at full throttle. If AC volts, but no DC, I'd go to JD dealer and get correct regulator. LOTS of others out there, some good, some bad. Bob
