Ballast on 3320 with 375 backhoe.

Complete newbie here.
Purchased a used 3320 with a 300x loader and 375 back hoe.
Intend to use it on a couple of acres I purchased in northern Arizona.
Do I need to add ballast to this machine with the backhoe attached?
Any advice on the use of this machine is appreciated.
Reading as much as I can and want to be safe before I tackle any jobs.
Thanks
Ed

Hi! Welcome from southern KY!

Your backhoe should be plenty of ballast for front loader work. If you plan to operate without the backhoe attached, then you would need a ballast box, or heavy hitch weight bar, or heavy 3 point implement to use the front loader.

I have a similar machine with a backhoe. I am no expert, but the backhoe weighs more than most ballast options so you should be good to go!
And the backhoe is in the way of attaching any other ballast options I know of.

If your property doesn’t have steeper terrain you should be good to go , but, if you do have steeper terrain the use of rim guard or similar will enhance lateral stability by lowering your CG

Thanks for the replies guy's.
I thought the backhoe would probably be enough.
My property is pretty flat so no issues there.
I do have quite a few juniper trees I need to remove.
Anyone have experience with that?
