If you are concerned about departure angle think real hard before getting a low hanging ballast box. Horrible on a 1025R, less bad on your large 2.

Wheel weights would help but what I haven't been able to find is how much/many you are allowed to put on a wheel. My only guess is tire load rating vs ballast + wheel weights + load weight + tractor weight + my lard butt.
Wheel weights and three point ballast are not the same and not interchangeable. Refer to your FEL a operators manual for minimum ballast requirements for your machine.
techpubs.Deere.com You can download almost any Deere operators manual for free.

Looks like three weights per side plus three point ballast is an option.

Actually... they come out to 62.76 each with free shipping (over 250) I put 6 in the cart and the discount/special was automatically applied. I had not planned on buying today but here I go again..

Ugh I just tried putting them in the cart and there is a discount applied. I’m trying to stay strong here and resist…
The 70#ers aren’t showing a discount, looks like only the 42#. I’m not going to try the wheel weights. 😂
