With a good stout cardboard box, some duct tape, you could build a hood for the little sucker. :laugh:

10 grand gas engine and 15 grand diesel engine does seem pretty steep for what it looks like. :dunno:

Looks similar to an Allis Chalmers G.
Looks like one sitting in the background. Even mentions it in the linked article.
There's a farm within a couple miles from my place that still uses 2 Allis Chalmers G's for cultivating. One is pretty rough looking, but obviously still earns it keep, the other is in really nice shape. I always like seeing them in the fields, neat tractor.:good2:

Obviously modeled after the "G"!

Too bad John Deere didn't put the model 101 into production: 2282.jpg There are two known to exist, Mother Deere has one & one is in private hands!
