Best Method for Relieving Pressure on New 60" MMM

I have tried the thick/thin board under the front, back, side. I have tried 3 different "flat spots" but I cannot flip those tabs. The photo is of the deck in its raised position, but yes, I have been working with the gauge in the "drive over" position and all the way down. I have only found one video of a deck that has this kind of release system. Must be new.

Any one else have success and desire to share?

Thanks

I have to drop the deck to the floor and scoot a bit driving forward to relieve pressure on the bottle latches. Set the parking brake and hope it doesn't roll back a little bit.
If that's not working, you may need to loosen nuts on your front hanger bracket and extend it a bit.

Yeah that's the new design, I have the same on mine. Just lower the deck to the ground and give the forward pedal a stab followed by application of the brake to keep the tractor from rolling back.

The mower deck needs to me flat on the ground and you should see a slight 1/8" gap behind the front hanger bar and the front frame attachment hooks. If you're not seeing this gap, the front hanger is not adjusted properly (too tight) and that is the likely reason why you can't move those rear latches.

Also make sure you release the gauge wheels and set the height control to the remove/install position beforehand. And set the PTO selector to rear beforehand as well, this takes any bind out of the shaft and coupling.

what I do is all of the above but when I go to release the bottle clamp I just grab a back tire and move it enough to get it to release works well for me.

I had a tough time flipping those bottle latches for the first month or so when I installed or removed my 60" MMM from my 2025R. I had to really work at wiggling my deck by hand to get those bottles tipped.

Now, after 6 weeks or so of installing the mower weekly, things seem to have loosened up enough to make it much easier.

Or maybe I am just getting better at it, I don't know for sure.
