Great little machine, so far (17 hours of fairly hard work). New design offers some real improvements over anything else I've used.

There are a few bugs and design choices I don't love. Biggest one so far: there is no dashboard indication that the machine is in gear, AND the shifter detents don't really work. So I keep having to restart the engine. Don't want to cheat the seat interlock, but looks like I'll go that way unless they come up with some kind of retrofit. Seems like it would have been easy enough to put an amber light in the dash to indicate that the transmission is engaged. Next version, maybe.

Hearing you on forgetting to take it out of gear when getting off...that amber light would help. Also wish we had ground speed.. Like for spraying..

It didn't take me long to get used to checking the shifter and PTO before dismounting, since I'm hopping up and down every few minutes while working. What's annoying is that, at least on my 1026R, the shifter doesn't have a positive "neutral" detent. So I put it back in the middle, wiggle it a little to feel fr center, and the engine still dies when I get off. No reason I can see not to have BOTH an "engaged" dash light, for safety, and a firm detent. It's the better detent that I thought might be available for retrofit sometime.

there is no dashboard indication that the machine is in gear,
Aren't most smaller series like that? I can't count the times I've gotten off mine, just to have to start it again.:nunu:

My 2305 is same way. Hard to tell where neutral is and often try to start it and it wont. I think there is a detent there but not very good.

I have thought about looking it it but havent done it.

I would almost rather the start interlock be on the brake pedal and not the gear lever.

I am tired of wiggling it as well !

I did that countless times when I first got my tractor. Now, not much at all. I guess I've gotten used to it:good2: I would like to see a 4x4 indicator. Maybe I'll have to make one:think:

The detent at neutral on mine is noticable, so that isn't an issue for me. But I am with dieselshadow, my biggest complaint is no 4x4 indicator light on the dash. I figured it was a given, the 2320 has/had one afterall..... :unknown:

I did the sin.....I bypassed the seat switch.:flag_of_truce: ......................and I'm glad I did. I can stand up and see the edge my forks when trying to stab a pallet, dont worry about putting it into neutral when getting off,etc..But ,I am going to put in a toggle switch that will be in parallel with the seat switch. I will also put in an LED indicator on the dash for when the toggle is in the on position. This way I can disable the safety easily when needed and not be permanently bypassed.

I have been thinking about the seat switch deal.

Havent figured out how I am supposed to use the REAR PTO for my spray pump otherwise.

I have no particular annoyance with mine (other than dealer set-up issues that I either took care of or working on as I go) - my annoyance is not being able to be using it all day, every day since I have to have a job to pay for my play toy!!

My 1026r says nue in the dash when it is out of gear. It's right beside the glow plug indicator light.

Most of us are in that same boat.
