My Blendtec blender plug lost the round plus portion yesterday. Found it still sticking in the outlet. I use it all of the time, it's over 7 years old I think and runs perfect. Can I just replace the plug portion by cutting it off and splicing in so to speak another plug or will I likely need to try and find the entire cord? I am not much with electrical :)

Thanks all

No biggie. You can buy a new plug and wire it in. Just cut the old one off. Hot (most of the time it's a black wire) goes to the terminal with the brass screw, the neutral (white wire most of the time) goes to the silver screw, and ground wire (round plug, usually green wire) goes to the green screw.
