I had a 5ft brush hog on my 1025R when I had it. Was no problem unless I did not have the loader on at the time. Then I could not steer as the front end was too light. Plenty of power.

I have the 4ft brush hog on my 1023e and I think it could handle a 5ft just fine. As the earlier comment stated, I think as long as you have the loader on or front weights it will be fine.

Ok thanks, I know my 1025 handles a really nice 5' disc like a charm. I will be looking into getting a rotary cutter.
