You think like I do :)

I'd probably clean and cook the meat too.

poor picture and color is wrong but it looks like ofe of my ghoper control staff that live under my tool room. Great helper they do a good job on ghophers and will take mice and rats as well.

Small world, I saw a similar snake about 3 days ago, western Illinois not far from the Iowa Missouri border is where I live. I looked at picture of a coral snakes, maybe but I think it was too dark. Looked at water moccasin, maybe, I hope not. Maybe some kind of hog nose or what you have a pic of. It’s the first snake I wish I had killed.

not a coral snake they have red and yellow bands. Definately not a water moccasin they are one color, the snake pictured is obviously not a pit viper but some kind of harmless snake and a farme ranchers friend.

I think that brown water snake is what I saw, we do have a creek nearby. I said Coral snake I meant Copperhead.

Water snake...saw one last year eat a 12 inch rainbow trout while me and the boy were fishing. I'll have to check and see if I still have the pictures.
How long was it? Those water snakes get pretty big.

Harmless water snake. It's a real shame you killed her.

You guys who insist on killing snakes need to educate yourselves. That snake was a blessing to have around the property and is completely harmless to people and pets

I want to know how fast your brother got up off the floor, and how loud he screamed. Just curious...
