I'm looking for a flail mower for my 2720.

The tractor width at the rear tires is about 54"

I'd like to know what the offset is for the Caroni 47" and 59" flail mowers.

So anyone out there have either one of these and can measure the offset.
I'm assuming that they can be mounted on center and offset, 2 different positions, maybe thats wrong.

Thanks!!

I have tried to find out the mounting locations of both the 47" and 59" TL series mowers by calling Agri Supply.
Called twice. I'm told I'll get a call back from a Tech guy. No call back yet.

I would like to know the 2 mounting locations/offsets so I can pick a mower and order it.
To me there are advantages of getting the smaller one for me, mowing trials and mowing small brush in the woods, so it would be easier to maneuver and take less storage area.
I thought someone on here would have these and they could help.

Check that the rotor/blade type on the smaller ones will work for you. They are both Type F, which I believe is the standard blade. I don't know if you can get the smaller flails in with hammer blades like the 73" is listed to come with.

Of course this may not be of importance to you. I've been looking around for a flail with hammer blades. I probably won't be in the market to actually buy until next spring though.

I'm considering the Caroni 59" flail, but it only appears to offer the Y-blade. Does anyone know of a source for duck-foot or hammer blades that will fit this model Caroni?
