I have a wall Grandma phone that dates before the buttons, yep, rotary dial. Still works just like the day it was made.

Still have several rotary dial phones, several with TT dialing, don't use either now ,since cordless came to be. If and when the land line goes belly up and need to test , I still use the old TT or rotary to test at the demar.

We dropped our land lines about 8years ago, I was required to carry a company cell phone and my wife had her own cell phone. Decided we didn't need land line and cell. BUT, we still have grandmas old wooden wall phone with the crank on the side , dates way back, all original, it hangs on the wall in our family room.
