I am getting ready to pass a tractor(770) on to my son, and want to clean it up some first. Would like to give the engine a little cleaning of dirt and grime. Any problems using "Gunk" and washing it down? What do you recommend?

When I do this I like to use hot water for the rinse. It really helps cut thru the grease and oil. Good luck.

Thanks Randy. I can use hot water in my 1 1/2 gal. pump up sprayer for a rinse Any places tp avoid beside the electrical?

I use Simple Green which you can buy at Home Depot. Just get the motor a little warm, shut it off, spray everything down with Simple Green, then rinse off with the hose. Easy peasy. If there is anything really caked on, you can hit those areas with a nylon bristle brush before the rinse.
