I was wondering if these tillers are any good and what size would work best on my gen1 2032r I was looking at a 5 ft one at tractor supply they are offering 0% intrest for a year and price is $1529.99 and I have needed a tiller and thought this was a good deal but wanted to get some opinions from people that own them or have used them

I've had a County Line by Tarter tiller for 3 years and do a good amount of tilling. It's heavy, well built and if I cleaned it up right now it would almost look new. That's a good price on their 5', if it were me and I needed one I would go for that. Oh, and they are quick hitch compatible right out of the crate.

Last month I bought a County Line 5 ft from TSC, closer to $2000. You have a good price. It’s made by Belen. It works great, but unfortunately after I got it home I noticed the Made in China in different places on the tiller. It is quick hitch compatible. You’ll need to cut PTO shaft to fit your tractor, probably. Also make sure the PTO is strapped to the unit. Mine was missing and I noticed that when I was assembling it. Must have gotten stolen off the lot, but TSC made it right and had one in stock on the shelf. Assembly was not difficult. Buy your gear oil with the unit. It comes empty.

I've been looking at them as well (the 4' is 1,620 here, the 5' 1700something). At least here it looks like there are 2 brands that make them no for TSC, Behlen which has the made in China everywhere and Tarter that the drive shaft says made in China, but the rest has made in USA sticker. I talked to a manager here and he said they just order a "County Line" in whatever size and can't specify actual makers. The 4' is Behlen, the 5', 6' and 7's here are Tarter brand. But in my thread about them most people say both have worked well for the people that have either. I'm gonna get the 4' one for my 1025R

I bought the 7’ countyline tiller about 3 months ago. It was regularly $2000 but they had a 15% off everything in the store that weekend so I got it for $1700. It is the Tarter built unit.

TSC takes the PTO driveshafts off the pallet and puts them inside to keep down theft. They forgot to give me mine and when I called that’s what they told me.

I’m made mine a reverse tine tiller before I filled the gearboxes up with oil. The tiller does an amazing job of grinding the fotter into the ground and making a fine seedbed. All of the Tarter is made in USA except for the driveshaft and gear boxes. It’s well built and heavy. It works well.

Yeah looks like I can change it to pickup in store and get the cheaper price. I may even try some different zip codes and see what happens.

Looks like it's either the 1620 I'm getting, the 1440 you get or a 1530 in other places. Good to know if anybody is looking at any big purchases from TSC.

It may be that way for the COVID stuff going on. The free "in store" pickup (that's actually in their parking lot). May be different when that ends.

Get it! I priced all kinds of brands and reviews, ya can't go wrong. I purchased mine a couple weeks ago from TSC, got the 4' unit, did the zero percent deal for $1649 with $50 off,. Today, I was online looking at the spring sales flyer and saw it on sale for $1529! Called my store and the gal credited my account for the difference!! TSC is my go to store now!!
