Couple of videos for the snow deprived

We got a few inches last night which demanded some plowing seat time early this morning. It seems like everyone is craving snow so I thought some might enjoy living vicariously for the time being. No worries, theres plenty of time!

The first vid is slow moving because of some unseen obstacles. The last video demonstrates the usefulness of the Glare Shrouds for the ROPS mounted work lights. They are a life saver, if you don't mind my saying. I consider them a safety necessity.

Nice Vids! Looks like that was a piece of cake for the 2520. :D
I agree on the light shrouds. I've got a set for my 3720. No more being "blinded by the light". John Deere should work out a deal with the artillian folks to market the shrouds for all of their forward light kits. I won't have an open station tractor without them.
What is this snow stuff you talk about?
Great videos, I'm going over to NukeThemTillTheyGlow's thread (Snow plowing best practices? QH 54" blade on 1026R) and send him over here.
Who took the videos, Babycakes (wife)?

Yeah, she was supposed to be shoveling the front entry areas. :nunu: I didn't realize she was pulling and Alan Funt on me - but was glad she did, ha ha.

Ensoll,
In the third Video, what's the device mounted to the tractor hood. Your driveway cannot be that big as to need a GPS. But then again my wife tells me I am lost half of the time.

Hey Gizmo,
It's a suction cup mount for my cell phone. Otherwise I get off the tractor with 4 missed calls every time. I'd hate to miss out on talking to someone about tractors! It's also handy for video, though I'd really like to find a solid way to mount up on the ROPS bar for that. For now, I just have Mike Rowe and his crew come by when needed.

Great videos! Thanks. It makes me want to find a 54" front blade, don't get me wrong, blowing snow is fun, but a blade looks like fun too!:good2:

Blades are fun when there is only a couple inches of snow because you can go FAST! Also turning with the split brakes is cool also in the snow.

I like that arrangement. you get seat time and she gets shovel time. can you teach my wife that trick???:mocking:

It's all about mutual respect. I just tell her that if she helps me shovel snow, I promise to stay out of the way during house cleaning.

I might as well add my $.02 here. I've been deprived of snow myself too, so I jump at any opportunity to get seat time. Enjoy
