I just demoed a 328d skidsteer cab all the bells and whistles it was quiet and hvac worked great. I think that will be my next piece of equipment. They are slick.

That is one sweet Deere. I have only run the CT322 and CT332 and love them. still havent tried one with tires yet though.

I do dirt work, yard finals, house pads, site prep, driveways, sod , anything that you can do with compact equipment. I rent them all the time.

I own a 2011 326D wheeled machine and a 2011 319D CTL...............Both machines are fully loaded with all of the options. I have many years running equipment for a living and these are by far the best skid steers on the market today bar none. Comfort, features, visibility, precise controls, power to spare.......I can't say enough good things about these machines. These are the only machines I have ever owned that after 10 to 12 hours in the seat and can get out and actually feel good at the end of the day instead of all beat up like all the others in the past. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new machine. Please don't take my words or 40 years of experience. DEMO one and find out for yourself......can't seem to get the picture of the wheeled 326D to load correctly. Everyone can look one up on the John Deere website if they would like to see one . I also like their 450 J series dozers. I own/operate one daily aswell. Along with a huge bunch of construction equipement.

I want to run one of these new D-series machines but the opportunity hasn't presented itself yet. I always liked the older CT332s that I've run. I am assuming that improvements have been made. I say assume since I ran both the new Case and New Holland machines and I was not impressed...especially with the sluggish response of their hand controls.

To this point, I feel that the Cat C-series machines are the best skid steers that I have ever run with the older Deere's close behind. Can anybody compare the Deere D-series vs. the Cat C-series?

The biggest differrence between the Deere and the CAT is the tracks stay on the Deere. CAT had a huge problem throwing tracks on their CTL's......Pound for Pond, dollar for Dollar the Deere runs cicrles around the CAT in terms of power and creature comforts IMHO.... The CAT CTL is overrated.....The older ASV design under carriage was weighed , measured and found lacking. The newer CATs are better to operate but I still like the JD "D" series much better.....I have run both machines. Hopefully we can get more opinion than just me on this subject.

If you are ever in Northern cornor of the State, (Towanda area) a simple PM to me get you free seat time for as long as you like too. I ever have a few projects started on the farm that could use a second man inone of multiple choices of heavy equipment. No rookies thou...

I think your the only one who owns one on here, but I did sit on a tracked model a couple months ago. While I was looking for a 110 I was visiting a lot of dealerships just to make sure they just hadn't hit the internet age and I found myself trying and sitting on a lot of machines. Didn't even start it but it was comfortable. I was having a patio put in in the back of my house and they had a Case tracked skid steer I sat in and the D series sure has heck was a lot more comfortable and A LOT better visibility. Good luck on the purchase.
