Found 2 forged eyes with lock washer nuts. Decided to end chain on green paint. Only had to drill one hole in the deck. Added some backer washers. Kens hooks on the bucket with 1/4” chain works great for out of storage to mowing .

Great idea! I loop chain through the wheel, but this is a much better way to attach the chain

Oh nice I was thinking about getting some lifting eyes to do exactly that. Glad it worked for you. You give me some ideas.

When I did this, I used four eyes - the same two you have on the front of the deck, and two more on the anti-scalping wheel mounts on the rear of the deck. With Y-lifting chains on each of the bucket's KBOH hooks, I could lift and maneuver the deck horizontally to get it to a shelf for above-ground storage.

No need for the lifting eyes now that I have Loan-N-Go ramps, so they have been removed.
