Still working through restoring a non-running 1969 2020, and I'm now starting to look at the fuel system. I've had the tractor started a couple of times, but the injection pump leaks fuel. I have the Roosa CBC431-3AL pump which seems to have a bad reputation, so before I look at messing with this pump, does anyone have advice on what to do with it? Should I look at replacing it with a better pump? Just trying to understand what the issues are exactly with that pump.

I'm older than you are Jim, I think. As I recall the CB pump did have a rather bad reputation. I believe they were replaced by a different variation of same style, but updated pump. If I can find anything on JDParts, I'll post it.I'm a long time member of the YT forum & I don't remember the info you mentioned. But I have a excellent excuse for not remembering because I'm OLD!!
