Normally I leave my mowing deck on all summer then remove it, and the under carriage for snow blowing.
I now need to move some delivered dirt, and would like to temporarily remove the drive over deck, and install a homemade deck lock up to keep the arms out of harms way. I checked out the Deere lock up kit, but apparently it's made of gold ! I've bent the undercarriage in the past as it lowers with the 3 point hitch.

I have seen several that use turnbuckles (not sure if I need one for each side). Didn't want to tie it up or bungie it.

I've searched high and low for what hardware sizes I would need without success.
Anybody have any information ?

When I had my 4110 that used the same setup, I just zip-tied the draft arms up under the floorboards. Simple and effective.

Heavy duty zip-ties or some hose clamps would probably be the cheap, quick & easy solution.

I used a chain on each side on the back pto lift arms( one on each side). It was less then 20.00. I will try to post a picture but i do not have the mower deck installed as of today. Very simple and works great. The benefit to the chain idea is it will hold it up, but if you hit an object it will allow you to go up farther (flex up but not down). Works great.

Looks good!
If you're using these to hold the weight of the deck up you might consider rotating the eyebolt 90* so the weight is not trying to open the hole.
