I thought I got rid of all my 18v DeWalt stuff. I just found these adapters, or I would have listed them earlier :hide:.
These are NOT "cheap copies" these were bought local from Home Depot.

I have two; $30 Ea, plus shiping or picked up.

You MUST use a 20v charger to charge your batteries, you can NOT charge batteries through the adapter. If you want/need a DeWalt 20v charger:

I have several, $25 Ea. I have to check for model number of charger if anyone is interested.

To appease anyone about these adapters, they are AMAZING !!! When me house needed to be re-sided 14 years ago, I figured Id do it myself. Before I did, I bought just about every 18 volt Dewalt tool known to mankind. (well, I WAS saving money by doing the siding on my own)
Needless to say, the batteries had been replaced over time and when Dewalt came out with the 20 volt system and the adapters, one of the local vendors gave me 2 to try out. Smart man.....because I loved them so much I bought another half dozen over time.
The reason being....they are hella hard to get off the tool, so most of mine stay with the tool and I just slam the 20 volt batteries into them.
Anyways, of all my tools, the only one that doesn't work is the fluorescent light, and the Dewalt guy told me ahead of time it wouldn't due to the frequency of the bulb........ like I understand electrical engineering stuff.

The only tool of mine that seems to have an issue with the 20 volts is my brad nailer....it just doesn't seem to like the 20 volts. But other than that, ALL of my other tools work great with these things and you cant go wrong with them.

Sorry to have derailed your post but thought my experience with them might help someone that's thinking about them to make a decision. :bigthumb:

No derail, maybe you pushed someone off the fence. I was told they come out hard to get you to buy more  :mocking: Or real reason, so you will not be tempted to charge with an 18v charger.

ONLY ONE LEFT :hi:
