Anyone got one? Model is DCPW550. I have plenty of 20v DeWalt tools, so plenty of batteries. No well/water at the hunting property other than what you bring. I am thinking it would be handy to spray off the tractor.

Curious about this also...seems like a option for places with no power or water that need some washing....obviously not high power but hopefully better than nothing

I about bought a Dewalt 20 volt weed eater the other day but I passed after I held it, all the weight was down at the head. I wouldn't think a battery operated power washer would have that much pressure but maybe I'm wrong.

Did you install a battery and feel the weight?

They don’t sound to impressed, but I don’t think they thought of the situation where you don’t have another option.

No I didn't, but probably should have, I was looking for something lighter than my four stroke troy built weedeater which wears me out after a couple of hours. Seemed like even with a battery on the Dewalt it wouldn't be balanced enough. IMO
I have the weed eater and use the flexvote batteries, it balances out pretty well, battery life is great.

I have the Stihl battery weed eater. Think it’s an FS85 or something or other. Really head heavy until I put the battery in then it’s nicely balanced. A They use an AP 36V battery so it’s pretty hefty. Alot lighter and quieter than a gas job. Also it doesn’t vibrate my hands till they’re zinging.

I have one, when the battery is in it it is pretty well balanced IMO. Cuts nice. lasts a while, wife wanted it so she didn't have to deal with gas and she uses it Win Win.

I see it as a option for example when you break down a machine in the field ....need to clean it up a bit to work on it.....5 gal bucket of water...and spray it off a bit......to me it is obvious it wont compete with a real pressure washer directly but i cant count the number of times i needed to clean something up quick with no hose water availible and a spray trailer setup is a whole different level

Sorry about changing this thread from power washers to weed eaters. Ok I might buy the Dewalt weed eater and give it a try, my wife said she would use it too. lol

Wow where do I order a wife that runs a weed eater? Got a link? Wonder if there’s any in Russia…

So it sucks water out of a reservoir, or it needs to be pressure fed? Not sure how the remote operation out of a 5 gallon bucket is gonna work?

Exactly. I wonder how it would do against one of these?

I was running out of ideas then I remembered. Gas pressure washers can run off gravity or primed siphon feed.

The tractor can lift any tank you bring to it so you’re not limited to 5 gallons,

I bought her a Dewalt battery weed eater and blower. They are kept in HER garage and she has her own batteries and charger. She now trims and blows with her own tools. She also has the Dewalt bluetooth radio and fan. She is proud to own them.

Interesting. I was under the impression that gravity feed was not enough to keep a pressure washer going. That's what I remember reading, anyway. Is it only volume that you really need, to feed a pressure washer? Or is it the pressure that can supply sufficient volume to not run one dry? The supply connection at the pressure washer, is only so big.

My son in law has the Dewalt 20V power washer. He said it was a waste of money. He said a garden hose with a sprayer nozzel worked just as well.

That’s the point, the OP doesn’t have a garden hose (running water) available.
