Anybody use an additive or stabilizer in their diesel tractors? It takes me awhile to go through 6 gallons of fuel so I've been thinking it might not be a bad idea to use a stabilizer in my 455. What do you guys recommend? Any brands better than others, or are they all about the same?

I use Power Services fuel supplement year 'round. Are any better than others? Not sure. Power Services has a good reputation and that's what Advanced Auto carries so that's what I buy.:)

Same here. That is all any place around me carries. I would use some of that other stuff in the other threads, but I have never seen it for sale and don't want to pay shipping for the small amount I'd order. It isn't like I go through gallons of it. :)

I use the John Deere stuff. They have a summer formula and a winter formula. Mama Deere knows best.
