I'm a beginner(casual amateur), doing my first partial restoration on a 1969 4020. I'm curious what the difference was between steering wheels on the 4020 pre-69(AR26625) and post-68(T22875). The correct steering wheel replacement for the '69 4020 comes in both a shinny gloss finish and a matte finish. The 4020 that I have was came into the family in about '75. It appears to have a matte finish(either that or 50yrs of aging). Does anyone remember what they originally came with? I really don't trust my memory. Thanks!

I was around a lot of them, but I couldn't tell you for sure which steering wheel they had. Maybe TxJim will see the post. His memory is much better than mine.

Thanks. The 50 year old condition of the wheel is definitely matte. Just curious when I found the two different finishes.
