Good day all!
purchased a used King Canada drill press over the weekend, and upon loading/unloading we knocked this connection box off. Wires came loose and I can’t for the life of me figure how it goes back together.
what I tried first was exactly like the diagram says.Wires 1&3 and 2&4 together. But it doesn’t tell you where to put the wires coming from the switch. So I took the black and added it to 1&3 since one was black, and added white to 2&4. Grounded the green. It starts and runs nice, EXCEPT it has no power, in low gear I can hold the 3/4” Chuck and choke the motor with less force than I should be able to. It’s not easy but by no means hard.
after I did that, I unloaded the rest of the stuff out of my box and noticed 3 marets, not 2 like I was using…telling me that I didn’t do something right. Can’t find much info on this online. Any help I’d appreciate before I call the factory.
thanks!
