Okay my first question about my 1023E ....Adding some front and rear lights and have the need for the electric terminal that goes into the back of fuse block so you can slide fuse in from the front . Will try to attach photo

Thanks for the Help.

In the solution posted in the linked thread, the author says you must use a crimp tool on the connector. If you are ultra-picky about doing everything the right way, he is right. And you will find those crimp tools can be very expensive. And you many only use it 2 or 3 times.

I'm going to be making some similar connections very soon. I'm not going to buy the crimp tool.

There are 3 sets of prongs on the end of the connector where the wire goes. The first set (nearest the connector's end) is used to grip the insulation. Strip the wire and make the stripped area just long enough to fit through the 3rd set of prongs. Don't make it too long or it may interfere with the fuse being inserted. Place the wire end into the trough on the connector with the insulation just past the first set of prongs. Using needle nose pliers, carefully bend each prong in the first set down onto the insulation. After the prongs are bent over the insulation, use the needle nose pliers to squeeze them tight into the insulation. Carefully arrange the bare wires down against the connector, then bend the 2nd and 3rd sets of tongs down into the wire. Gently squeeze each prong down into the bare wire.

When the wire is mechanically connected to the connector, use a soldering iron designed for electronic work (and a high quality solder designated for electronic work) to solder the wire to the connector. Be careful not to use too much solder; you don't want it interfering with the fuse end of the connector. The heat will melt the insulation into the prongs. This wire will not be coming out of the connector for a long time.
