I didn’t think so since the muffler looked like just a muffler. My salesman claimed that it did. He has been the most unknowledgeable salesperson I have ever dealt with.
My local dealer is the same. Great people, just don't know what they are doing. Tried to sell me a combination of 2 series tractor with 3 series backhoe and a mower deck with no lift mechanism. Needless to say, went 2 hours away to a dealer who knows what they are doing. Still use the local one for maintenance supplies though.
That is why the 1026R was discontinued in 2012 and the 1025R replaced it for the 2013 model year. I think there was some numbers fudging as the 1026R is 26 HP and 18 HP at the PTO. The 1025R is 25 HP and the same 18 HP at the PTO.
Thats 50% of the reason I bought my 1025r was no emissions crap to deal with and so far I've not had a diesel with the extra stuff 🙂 but I know one day I probably will have to deal with it 👎🏻😭 the other 50% was when I seen my 1025r sitting by the door at the dealership I had to have it 👍🏻😏
Yeah that's one of the reasons I bought mine too. I mean if I was gonna go to a 2 series (current property is too small for that anyway but...) then I'd get the biggest baddest one Deere offers. 2038R I believe. Well, if the wallet allowed that, anyway.
