Recently installed a curtis hard cab on my 4310 for snow removal and would like to get the exhaust up through the hood through a stack. someone told me John deere makes a kit? is that correct?
Yes-JD makes one, below is a picture from JDParts. You will have to order it through the sales department of your dealer-not the parts counter since it is what JD calls a "whole good" and not a "part" If you look under your hood you should see the cutout marks molded in the plastic.
Some of the aftermarket cabs have issues with fumes. I was considering getting an aftermarket cab for my 4100 years ago but I decided not to once the Dealer told me that their other customers for the add-on cabs were complaining of fumes inside the cab.
yeah a little bit, I use the tractor for snow removal and the back and forth the fumes start to get in the cab. I want tot get them up in the air. I wouldnt trade the curtis cab to be outside in a snowstorm in feb. I ordered the stack kit for 120 bucks from JD.
