Well this is a first as our usual method was to wheel in the portable chick coop and turn the girls loose. No chickens this year so we had to do it our selves. Having planted about eight dozen tomato plants as well as four rows of green beans there was too much to just till it all under so we used the bush hog on it mostly to chop up the tomato vines. A couple large raised beds had peppers, squash, kale, beets and a few other greens for salads and smoothies and all that was left over got tilled with my 2520 and five foot tiller. Then we sowed winter rye and raked it in by hand with a leaf rake.

Now we wait till spring.
