I have been looking for months for a used 10K trailer but wasn't able to find anything worth buying.... So I decided to start looking at new trailers. I finally decided the 10K Warrior from Cam Superline was the best match for what I needed/wanted. I can't wait to load-up and take her for a spin and see how she handles.....

Congrats! Looks like a nice one. You'll find a million uses for it, believe me. Since getting mine late winter I've pulled my 2520 home from TX, brought my H130 loader home on it, hauled the 2520 around to till some gardens, brought home a load a new trees, filled it with hay bales, and probably a half-dozen other things. In a month or so it will get turned into a stage for a band to play on at a party.

Mind if I ask how much you paid? I got my 10K 18' trailer as a barely used 1-year old for about $3800.

:bigthumb: that is one nice looking trailer. and the price seems good too.

i have a 16ft and it seems too short most of the time, but it's a landscraper model-so i got the tailgate instead of ramps.

my next one will be like urs, only a 20 fter-with the ramps. i want to be able to haul everything at once:lolol:

You need to get them safety chains up off the ground. Just twist them until you take up some of the slack.

Putting some tie down chains on the tractor would be useful.

Nice trailer.

I doubt he's gonna go running down the road with the ramps on the ground.

Cool. Guess even though we're across the country things are similar in price/value.

It's so nice having the right tools for the job. I've done more with my equipment trailer and my 2520 this year than I ever imagined I would. The trailer has been put to use repeatedly for things that I would have never been able to do (at least not in as few of trips) with my 6x10 aluminum utility trailer.

Hauling my 2520 around for tilling:

Unloading new trees I got at auction (root ball was 3' diameter on a couple of them):

Bringing home 3 yards of black dirt (did that several times this summer):

Bringing home hay bales:

Couple of suggestions for enhancements to your trailer:
- Add a tongue mounted tool box for carrying chains, binders, straps, chocks, etc.
- If you aren't going to use the trailer for long periods consider adding a battery tender hookup to the breakaway battery to keep it charged.

I've been utilizing a single axle I originally built for transporting motorcycles 25 years ago. A 1025r TLB is probably right at the maximum for a single axle and I'd like to have some cushion. I've always wanted a car hauler, so it has got me looking. I'd like to aluminum, but I'm not sure if I want to go another $2K. Any thoughts from those of you that have been down this trail?

Congratulations on the your new trailer. You've got a solid combination with a truck that can use the trailers full capacity. Like you, I gave up looking for used trailers, which was my original plan. Two weeks ago I purchased an 18' 7000# trailer to haul the 3025E & implements (along with the myriad of other tasks these trailers can accomplish) behind the RAM 1500. I also have a 3500# single axle that was just a tad bit too small for tractor moving. As noted in a previous post, I paid under $1700 new for the trailer (in JD Green!) directly from the LoadNGo Trailer factory in Omaha, AK (near Branson, MO). The price included trailer brakes, built in ramps, six D-Rings and the spare. The price for 10000# trailers such as yours was higher, of course. After tax and a life-time MO trailer tag, I was still under my $2000 budget, so I was able to get some good chains and binders...

As you noted, it nice to have the right tools for the job, and your trailer will surely accomplish that goal.

Most 10K rated steel equipment trailers weigh around 2500# so their load capacity is about 7500#. I'd be surprised if this one were different.

I took my 16' trailer back to the dealer and he kindly upgraded me to an 18' trailer, same make/Gross weight. All of this was done before the paperwork was processed and the trailer I gave back remained "New", not used.... When I got home and assessed my needs, loading the trailer with Tractor equipped with Loader and rear implement or backhoe installed, and one loose implement, the 16' was too short to comfortably transport all this equipment. So now I have a new Cam Superline 18' long x 6'9" wide Warrior trailer, 10,000 lb Gross Weight, 7,800 lb payload. I am a happy camper! :bigthumb:I will post photos in the next couple of days with the trailer loaded.
