Yes, I had the same experience. So, called John Deere publications: Sent me to the Dealer. Have done so, but so far they have not been responsive. Not sure what is going on. Seems strange we cannot go to Frontier (or whoever makes the "stuff") and get an operator's manual! ... Dealer downloaded it for me... I guess Frontier's website is only accessible through the Dealership. Did you check the tube on the equipment? I was looking for mine for a landscape rake while adjusting the rake angle I remembered to check the tube.:lol:

Is there anyway you can share that electronic version (through email perhaps) you obtained from the dealer. I just picked up the same spreader today (used) and it too is lacking the manual. I am trying to figure out the settings on the spreader and so far am finding it a bit confusing.Good suggestion, but was not on/in the spreader.
The electronic version (now have) is handy... can now just print out the parts I need at the time!
