Right out of HS I bought a Sears Tool Box. Small but functional Thought I would keep using it

I got one of those in 73 to carry tools to keep my first car running. It lived in the rotten trunk of that car as I lived in barracks with no personal space. I was pleasantly surprised a couple years later when the box rusted out and Sears replaced it free. I thought that only applied to the tools. I finally gave it to my son about 24 years ago. Filled with tools of course.

I also bought 4 of those Craftsman tool boxes back in the early 1980s and still have them. They aren’t as nice as yours after spending 40 years in crossbed pickup toolboxes but they are still quite functional. They, and all the tools in them are so old they were all made in the USA. I’m not sure where Deere sources their tractor toolboxes but they aren’t anything to write home about.

Red key on a custom paracord key chain. My brother makes key chains for all different causes. Told him JD is a cause😁. I mounted it on the bracket that came with the old plastic box. Just moved it out enough to open the lid without hitting ROPS.

Very nice tool box upgrade! I'm thinking of doing something similar with my 2032R.

Excellent work, looks great.
I'd be tempted to put some sort of JD sticker on either end.
On the other hand, it has a nice and clean look as it is.
I was thinking of an American Flag Decal

The American flag decal adds class and shows your patriotism.. Great idea.

Nice. I’ll bet that thing rattles pretty good with tools in it. I like the bigger design and of course the green.
