Remember my TnT Concept thread https://www.greentractortalk.com/forums/hydraulics/173500-concept-top-tilt-3-point-equipment-grapple-1025r-2.html last year? Well, that's right campers, it's almost time for another installment of Clueless Diane pretends to be a Tractor Mechanic.

What I ended up with was for the TnT SCV:
Since I want to make this removable, I should be able to connect

The BH pressure QD (rear tractor top port labeled P) to the pressure port on the TnT SCV.

The PB port of the TnT SCV would be connected to the BH return QD (rear tractor bottom port labeled R) which then goes on to power the 3ph.

My new tank line coming off the tee would have a QD that is just capped in BH mode and connected to the tank port on the TnT SCV when it's present.
Hopefully going to start on this late next week. Have some questions before pulling the wheel for the new tank hydraulic line:

--From Ray's pdf, I'll need a FF6602-06-06-06-FG Male Flat Face TEE w/ Female Flat Face Swivel O-Ring. Should this be available at a local hydraulic shop or will I need to order this on the web? I've never shopped for hydraulic parts/hoses, so don't know how universal (AG vs vehicle) they are and/or how long things take to be built.

--From the Tee, I'll need a hose with a QD to be mounted somewhere where it will not interfer with the existing BH QDs or 3ph stuff. Assuming it should be 3/8" like Ray's. From what I remember, I'll need some AG type QD. Again, is this something I will have to order or can have made locally?

--How close does the hose measurement have to be? That is, within a range of 1/4", 1", 2", etc. I'm planning for flex hose, not steel like Ray used.

Most of the decent farm stores have a selection of the hydraulic fittings in stock. I just had some custom made hydraulic lines made at noon today and the shop which made the lines only had 1 set of 1/4" quick connects M & F. I went to Family Farm and Home and bought 3 more sets. Turns out the same exact brand and the local custom shop was $4 per set lower in price than the Farm store. Of course, the farm store was about 40% less than Deere's parts.

Usually, the custom hose length includes the length of the fittings so keep that in mind unless you are buying finished 3/8" lines with the threaded ends on them but nothing else. Then those are sold with the actual length and fittings are extra in both price and adding length.

The farm store sold the 3/8" hydraulic line in 18", 24", 30", 36", 48" lengths in stock. This does not include the quick connects. The custom lines I had made I wanted a specific length WITH the quick connects included, so for example, if the new hoses are overall 12" long, the actual hose length is about 8" and the male and female quick connects make the overall length a total of 12".

So keep this "variable" in mind when you are looking for these items.......Good luck.:good2:
