We owned the farm /hunting property over 30 years. Collecting a deer opening day, I saw this first time ever. There is also an old JD hay rake, we discovered years ago too. I am thinking part of a planter/seeder?

Interesting. Whatever it is, it's cool.

When I first saw your picture on my little phone screen it looked to me like the wheel on an old treadle sewing machine so I looked at my mom's old Singer and even snapped a picture of it. Then I looked closer at your picture and saw it was not even close. But I bet a flat belt once ran on it, probably turning a crank of some sort.

Don't give up trying to figure it out. Maybe cleaning it up and taking some different pictures to run through a Google image search would find something.

Its part of that space station the Russians lost control of back when they were Soviet's...............and the time frame is right, as they lost the Soviet union on December 26, 1991 if my memory serves me................which makes it 30 years old this year.............

I have not decided if I should just let it R.I.P. Or clean it up and take more pictures.
