Front Loader Speed

Is there a valve on the 2038R that will regulate the speed at which the front end loader operates, especially the 4 in 1 bucket?

For the loader, no not really.
For the 4n1, if it's moving to fast, you can add in an inline flow restrictor to slow it down some.

Thank you. That is an excellent and easy solution.

Does a flow restrictor have quick couplers on each side so you can easily add and remove it?
Now I have to go look up flow restrictor and probably spend money, thanks.

As long as you're not going full dump extension, doesn't
your hand lever give you infinite speed control?

Seems like there is always something to trick out a JD.

I've been using these on my snow plow/blade angle cylinders since 2008.

No...we could certainly put something together like that but it would be a bit clunky IMHO.

We so sell them on our website with NPT threads.

Would it not be better to just attach it to the implement that needs the restrictor? This is how the curl function is done on the loader the restrictor is on the loader side of the coupler.

(y) Without a doubt.
