I installed an independent lift cylinder on my tractor for the MMM. Has been a nice thing to have.
So I have one hydraulic circuit left over and have been day dreaming a little about this.

I know it has been done, but can't find any "how to" posts of how people have done it.

Anyone built one ?
Pictures ?
Any info appreciated.

Hi,

I have thought about this as well, for the front of my flail mowers. What I can't sort out in my head is how to 'lay' the grass backward so that it will feed better into the blades for cutting. A standard harrow type dethatcher will 'comb' the grass forward, and therefore away from the oncoming blades.

The only thing I can think of would be a spinning 'reel'.

If you simply want to 'scratch' the dirt, there are plenty of harrow parts available, rigid tine and flexible tine, that will do the job for you. It'll just take for fab'ing to make it go.
