I have about 500 hours and just yesterday started to hear a kind of grinding sound in the right front wheel. Coincidentally, just had to use the truck to pull it out of the mud. Thought it was a rock stuck behind the wheel but just mud and hosed it all clean. i spun the wheels with the tires off when cleaning and did not hear it. Seems to be worse at high speed nut now is making noise a low speed.

any ideas how to diagnose? Could it be a bearing?

appreciate any feedback, thanks for listening

found the issue. The cruise control rod (red)attaches to a round aluminum piece (yellow) that attaches to the frame. a small piece broke off the round aluminum part which left the rod free to rub on the front wheel drive shaft (green)
