I have a question about frontiers rear hyd. blades, are they serialized? My salesman just informed me that the backhoe is scheduled for delivery 6/1 but the rear hyd. blade has a part shortage at factory and no delivery date is available at this time. He wants me to leave it off the financing now and do a deal later. If it is not a serialized product, I do not see why it cant be included with the packaged deal ? Thanks

It’s impossible to tell what financial voodoo happens behind the curtain. I would ask the dealer why they prefer this option. If it’s a financial reason for them, you may get a much better price when the blade comes in for helping them out.

Yes, the Frontier rear blades (hydraulic or not) have serial numbers. I believe all Frontier implements have serial number tags.

Well crap, that explains my sales guy response. I do not remember my BB having a serial plate. I was hoping the rear blades didn't have number. Thanks for the response !!

My 3038e is already at dealer, And the BH is supposed to be in 6/1, I can have my tractor if I purchase blade later and not roll into my financing. I will have to see what kind of deal they are willing to make.

My salesman told me all items covered by the financing must be delivered at time of closing. Makes perfect sense if you think about it. What happens if the blade (or whatever) can't be delivered for whatever reason?

Now, if they offered the 0% financing on a revolving credit account for a period of 30-90 days then these situations would be covered. Also, if after a couple of weeks I decide I need another attachment or accessory, I could roll it into the tractor purchase. Won't ever happen, but would be nice.

It is just frustrating, I did what I did because of getting everything I needed financed together. I am trading in a 2019 3032e for this package, I am already waiting 5 months until I take delivery, I ordered in January. I hope my dealer takes care of me. I will update when I hear more.

Well I spoke to the dealer. They are calling all dealers with the RB in stock to try to get one, he also said he may try a different source that isn't green, he didn't say who though. He doesn't want me to reach out myself and cut him out of the deal. Last resort would be taking advantage of 0% on Frontier attachments for 2 years. This is a new program because of the shortages going on at this time. I just didn't want 2 payments. So it is back to the waiting game. Sigh
