Hi,

I have a bunch of gator TS vehicles. These machines are loud but have a proud sound to them. One of the gators has a sound that when it's idling, sounds normal, but when you press the gas it has a loud whine or roar. The other gators have a nice put put sound to them. They all ride nicely, but was wondering if anyone had ideas as to what this whine could be. I can post an audio clip of what it sounds like

I'm assuming that they have cooling fans. Are they electrical or tied to the crank. If it is tied to the crank than maybe the fan clutch is locked causing the fan to spin constantly.

Please post videos.

Sounds like a bearing to me. Using a long screw driver put to your ear and different areas ( think stethoscope ) you might be able to isolate it Or rule it out.

I will definitely look into that and try it. If it's a bearing, is it just noise and drivable? Or does driving it cause damage.

Thanks again.

If it is a bearing, it will probably lock up with you, sooner or later. Best to find the culprit and repair/replace, IMO.
